Ideas Project

This particular clip sets out to be the pivotal story moment that reminds us how social networks can provide specific advice to all your consumer needs and desires (Think of buying a cellphone for your aging mother– which one should I buy and why?). It’s the equivilant of a human search engine powered by a range of wannabe experts. Read my comments for why this site falls short. Via ritters90

  1. Ouch! The site whilst seemingly live is apparently only sporting a few bits of content. I guess this is a beta soft launch until somebody get’s behind it. No ideas here. Nothing to see.

  2. There’s a lot going on out there in the social recommendation space. Blippr is one example.

And one day Facebook connect will allow us to have conversations with our Facebook community in real time while we’re on other sites like Amazon and Cnet … exciting stuff.

I predict that just as newspapers and periodicals are rapidly failing today, the same will happen to the traditional 30 second spot. When? Who knows. But when it happens it will happen fast.
